Matthew 7:24

I took these pictures on our beach vacation this summer. It is beautiful there, but I am glad I am only there for a week out of the year. I wouldn't want to live there. I don't think I could stand the tremors I would feel, inside and outside my body, when the winds of a hurricane blow through. It just doesn't make sense, to me, to live in stick houses on a skinny little sandbar off the coast. The rains come down, the floods come up, and the house on the sand . . . The beach is nice for a vacation. I love the sparkle of the summer sun on the ocean. But, give me the strength, and the trees, of the mountains.
